1in5 was started by Josh Baltzell as a way to do a little good and to create some opportunities to do some purely creative work that people love to look at.

We call ourselves 1in5 because 1/5 of our net profits go to charities that you help us pick.

Responsible

Business isn't all about profit. Don't get us wrong, we *love* your money, but we do a little good whenever the world does us good. That's why we write a check to charity every year for 20% of net profit. It's hard for us to chicken out, it's totally in our business' name.

We do some fun projects (commercials and promotional video), some serious projects (weddings and receptions) and some weird stuff (Harry Potter music videos.)

We can help you collect some raw footage that you can keep forever or a quick 30 second heavily edited piece to show off your latest products. We love to talk about video, just shoot us an email.

We can take a shoebox of old photos and bring them to life. We scan them by hand, touch them up individually, work on the sorting with you and then make classy, understated video.

These videos can be put on DVD or memory cards and played for for happy occasions like birthday parties or solemn occasions like funerals.

Josh started the company and he tries to question all the big steps in life like this:

"Am I being the type of person that my kids deserve as a dad?"

Generally that just means that he forces them to eat their vegetables, but also finds something for dessert. Sometimes it leads to something more profound. In this case it meant that doing charity work should be a daily part of life, not an afterthought at Christmas time.

We do our charity work in a few ways. For one, we are always looking for little ways to show up and help local Northwest Ohio charities. If you need computer skills or phots and videos taken then you should contact us. We are always looking for fun projects. Second, every year after taxes we figure out what the profits looked like last year and we write a check for 20% to one or more charities. Got a favorite? If you are a customer we will listen. ;)

We're not Olan Mills. You don't show up, get in line and move through the photo factory. We work *with* you to figure out why you are getting portraits, what's important to you and what you want as an end goal.

We talked to a lot of families out there and came up with a few common things. They wanted to be able to do whatever they want with their photos and they want them on Facebook.

So we listened.

When you work with us you get no matter how much you spend:

• Communication with the photographer before the session. This works best via email, IM, texting or Facebook. Use this to explain what you want out of the session.
• All of your proofs uploaded to Facebook with you tagged.
• Photos uploaded to an online ordering system so that you can have top quality prints sent right to your door.
• A DVD of your edited photos handed over to you so you can do with them as you please.
• Free candy right after the photo session. It's for kids, but the adults can get in on that candy action too... as long as they are good during the shoot.
• A buddy to use when you have questions about how to get your photos on the wall and looking good. Especially if you send us a picture of your frames. (We love that.)

Weddings: $1600

Weddings are all so unique. Chat with us and we can determine what is right for you. Here's what you get with the standard package:

• Up to eight hours with the two photographers.
• Photos before and during the ceremony.
• Portraits of the family and wedding party after the ceremony.
• Approximately 25 edited photos ready for printing.
• All edited photos uploaded to Facebook.
• All edited photos uploaded to an online ordering site where you can order the highest quality prints at any time.
• All of the original photos and the edited photos delivered on a USB flash drive that can be read on any computer.
• Complete proof book delivered wither as large printed 4x6 binders or digitally on an Amazon Kindle Fire that is yours to keep.
  

Senior Portraits: $350

On location photo shoot in the places that tell your story.

Pretend that you are doing them for your parents, but really it is to finally get a good profile picture for Facebook.

• Up to three hours with the photographer.
• As many outfit changes as you can fit in.
• As many photos with friends or pets as you can fit in after the solo portraits are complete.
• Approximately 25 edited photos ready for printing.
• All edited photos printed 4x6 for proofing.
• All edited photos uploaded to Facebook.
• All edited photos uploaded to an online ordering site where you can order the highest quality prints at any time.
• All of the original photos and the edited photos delivered on a USB flash drive that can be read on any computer.

Family Portraits: $150

The good ones. Outside someplace you like.

• Up to one hour with the photographer.
• Approximately 10 edited photos ready for printing.
• All edited photos printed 4x6 for proofing.
• All edited photos uploaded to Facebook.
• All edited photos uploaded to an online ordering site where you can order the highest quality prints at any time.

DVD Slideshows: $150

Your memories set to music.

We put your photos (or ones we tool in the past) together in to a dynamic, animated slideshow.

• Up to 100 photos total.
• Up to 40 scanned photos.
• All images touched up.
• Animated slideshow transitioning one photo at a time.
• You help us determine the order the photos are shown.
• Up to three songs of your choice.
• All edited photos uploaded to an online ordering site where you can order the highest quality prints at any time.
